I just decided to sell my 1911 for an M&P9... so if this is still alive and there's first run pistols still available to pre-order... I'm in (pending 1911 sale).

After shooting Todd's M&P last year I can tell you that it will be worth the wait. To get the Performance Center sear & Warren sights for (roughly) the same price as a standard M&P is one hell of a deal.
That sear makes a huge difference!

UPDATE!
All, I know that you guys have waited a long time for this gun. S&W called me on Friday and confirmed that this special edition M&P is still a go and that they would be accepting my order this week!
So when will you see your pistol? I would be a fool/moron to ever give a date, but I think we could see something in first quarter.
What I will be doing next week is going through my list of e-mails and contacting everyone that is interested in this pistol. You will be required to provide CC info and once that is done, there will be no backing out of the sale.

Just wondering if everything was still moving forward (order in to S&W and contact being made for CC info) as expected?
