Question High Standard AR15

I'm starting to receive more inquiries about High Standard AR's but I have zero knowledge about them.
I've been asked by a number of people about them over the last few weeks regarding quality, availability and so on. I've tried researching them to find out the details of their manufacture but most of the info I find is limited to basic reviews.

Would any of you happen to know much about the High Standard line of AR15s or point me in the right directions for info so that I can at least give relatively accurate information about them.

If you can compare them to some of the other more "popular" manufacturers who would it be?

Thanks,
TGR

well first of reading the spec i found ,No chrome lined barrels and 1/9 while this is a good twist for 55 and lighter ammo ,but would not be good for heavier loads 62gr -75gr .They probably offer CHL at a extra price.I have not hear of them I would more research before I bought a weapon from them.
this is the spec sheet

One of my gun dealer freinds bought one for his daughter to learn to shoot them. The darn thing is as accurate as my HBAQR with 55 grain loads. I plan to get one as a kicker arounder if I can.

The High Standard is not a new player in the firearms industry, although the AR line of guns is fairly new. I handled one back six months ago and thought the fit and finish was in line with a Bushmaster or Stag. I have seen a few reviews on other forums and really have heard nothing bad from them.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone!

I'm curious as to where they source their parts from such as the lpk, bolts, barrels and so on.

When someone asks me questions I like to give straight answers, unfortunately there's not much in depth info out there regarding the High Standard AR.

Thanks again to everyone for the feed back!

Good advise.

I will note that when passing their booth at Shot Show, I asked if the bores were chrome-lined, and was told No.

Also, I remember that when these hit the market a few years ago, reports were that many of the parts were sourced from CMT (Stag).
