HSGI's New Pack- The "MOOSE"

Gene's not really known for packs, but this one looks real interesting.
The pack is a three piece system with lots of PALS webbing, inside and out, to make it extremely modular.
The main pack comes with an internal hydration pouch, along with their Modular Hydration Carrier (which I think is one of the best hydro carriers available). Dual layer mesh pockets with elastic loops line the inner flap. The pack also comes with the Modular Combo V-2 Utility pouch, which is a very versatile pouch, in and of itself, and can carry up to 6 M4 mags.

I envision using the pack without the piggybacked Hydro carrier most of the time, but time will tell. The HSGI Hydro carrier is solid enough and large enough to be used a an add-on pack, so that's a bonus.

I should be hands-on with mine (in Multicam) by the end of the week, so I'll update the pics when it comes in.

So that's what it ended up like. I'd seen his other one from this year's SHOT show, and Gene and I discussed several idea for this one. Nice to see the inside of it.
