Folks at Kandahar and KAF Radio 107.9 going off the air soon.

Well it's finally official. KAF Radio is going down soon as the owner is leaving around the 3rd week of Feb. There are flyers posted on the Board Walk with details but if anyone is interested feel free to contact me and I'll get you the low down on everything.

(1) 1.5 Watt FM Exciter
(2) 25 Watt FM Amp
(3) Pentiem 4PC on XP Professional, 80g int HHD, Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum Fatality Edition Sound Card, 2 x 500Gb hard drives(1 with radio formatted music, other with mp3 files), 2 microphones with Phantom Power interface for radio station.
(4) 200W capable antenna
(5) After-amp filter limits harmonic and spurious transmissions
Plus more.

This is an awesome system, user friendly and is great for morale. It can be picked up for miles off base and there is no regulation, just be mindful of opsec otherwise it's wide open. Lets keep this station going on base, someone out here needs to carry on KAF Radio into the future
