Corbon Performance Match 77gr BTHP 223

Does anyone have experience with the Corbon 77gr 223? Does it have crimped primers and case necks? I am thinking of picking up 1k of it, but would like some input before doing so. Thanks!

No crimped primers, no cannelure on the bullet, no crimp at the case mouth. It does use Lapua Match brass! COR-BON also claims a velocity of 2800 fps from a 20" barrel. I'll believe it when I see it.

Thanks, Molon. Too bad they don't take those extra steps, guess I will stay clear of it.

What did you expect, it is labeled as match ammo not mil-spec ammo you know.

I have no experience with the stated ammo. However as a FWIW, a while back Corbon gave a BUNCH of folks on the Hide a box of ammo to shoot and post groups with. The .308 shot extremely well. I had a box of their .300 WM in 190 grn variant - shot as well or better than Black Hills.

YMMV

Good luck
