The barrel looks real nice. Could you tell me what your impressions are of it? At one point I was going to order a complete upper, but decided against it in favor of training. Now I'm in the position of trying to get all of the parts to build one so I can acutually have a rifle to take to classes. So any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Operation parts had a couple of those mid-length urx's with integral front sight in stock. Note that these are not standard mid-length, i.e. 9 or so inches, it is based off the sr-25 carbine length around 11" and will require a lowpro gas block to use it with this barrel. This is the setup I'd use.

    Chen,

You really want our new Rifle Length URX with the Integral Flip Front sight - it will fit the Middy Gas system, whereas you need to cut our Midlength URX to get it to fit with a MidLenght Gas Armalite dimensioned system.

*You really want Monty to build our Midlength gas system

The barrels weight is 1 lb 15.4oz

Kevin I would love to hear about the differences in your mid-length the only issues I could see is that it is not a standard so the gas tubes would be a "custom" item.

I will try to have the spec on the website soon but I'm VERY happy to have these barrels and they are finally in stock.

    Thanks
    Monty
