Magpul MOE fit with LMT lower?

I just got a new MOE grip and it will not fit onto my LMT defender lower. The receiver is too wide where the grip indetation is. The Ergo one it came with fits right on. Anyone else have any trouble?

It'll fit. Muscle up on it.

I'm inclined to agree with the above. How wide is too wide?

Wink All in good fun

I've seen several posts like this on several forums. Maybe Magpul needs to put instructions on the packaging.
Step 1- remove tampon.
Step 2- install grip.

When I started playing with AR's I was afraid to put the shiznit to them. After watching a few friends who knew more and a couple of classes it just seems natural to put it to'em. Whether with hammers, spanners, screwdrivers,or by hand. They are not as delicate as some would think.

I had the same problem only with a Superior Arms rifle. A little more elbow grease and it went right on.
