Model 1 Sales Experience?

I'm sure this has been discussed, but couldn't find the thread(s).

Anybody have any real world experience with Model 1 Sales uppers? Any info good or bad would be appreciated....Or, a link to previous discussion would be helpful too.

Thanks.

Model 1 is where all of the out of spec parts end up being sold.

I would rather wait and buy from a more reputable vendor.

This!

While waiting on a perpetual back order from Brownell's for a DPMS LPK and against my better judgment, I ordered a M1S LPK.

The M1S kit came it and had the following issues:

1. Hammer missing J spring

2. Selector detent to large

3. Push pin detents were flat on one side, so you had to make sure the one pointy end was properly positioned.

4. Detent springs to long

5. Allen head grip screw

6. All roll pins a tad over sized and soft
