7.62x39 Ammo Available
Hey Guys,
I know this is an AR/M4 forum, but I know that some of you guys own "the other rifle" also and wanted to turn ya'll on to some soon to be available ammo.
S.A.W. Inc. (Schramm's Ammo & Weapons) in Dallas is about to get a large stock of Wolf black box and Brown Bear ammo. It is due to arrive in about 2 weeks.
The price is $275 + SH (taxes in Texas) if you pre-order with a $100 deposit per case. The price will go up after it arrives. There are no limits on quantities.

That's about $200 more than I paid the last time I bought 1k rounds of 7.62x39 from Schramms. Glad I still have most of it.
Even in today's ammo market, that's a joke.

Yep, same here. Last time I purchased any it was $100/1,000 rds. Glad I picked up several thousand rounds back then. Even happier that I still have most of it due to other hobbys not long afterwards.
Thanks for the heads up but I will pass.

I find it somewhat amusing that people who are afraid of a government ammo tax are currently paying a 250% panic tax.

Most of the online ammo guys are selling it for upwards of $300 plus a thousand...that's when they even have it. Some dealers are in the $400 range.
Just trying to let people know that some is coming available.
All that I read now about ammo an the availability is that the manufacturers are running 24/7 and still can't keep up. I read a piece from the emails that I receive from the shot show and the government and LEO are buying like crazy also, not just scared people.

That's pretty decent for around here. All I've seen on the shelf has been Silver Bear for $500/1000. I asked em if they would throw in some Vaseline.
