Whats the word on Leupolds Prisamatic sights

A friend of mine got one and loves it. Just wondering what they battery life is, specs ect. How do they compare to more established sights. I am talking about the new 1x optic they are selling.

Etched reticule, so battery life not as critical.

15 hours on high setting, illumination color is red.

Illumination is daylight visible in most instances, unless pointing at very bright background. But with etched reticule, you'll always have a black reticule available

I was very impressed with the glass, crystal clear, and reticule is very sharp. It's also very small profile. But I found the reticule very busy as well. If they came with a horseshoe/dot or circle/dot I'd be more interested.

It's a 1x scope, not a traditional RDS. Because it's a scope, you can't cowitness irons with them.
