Troy BUIS

Might be a dumb question but since when Troy changed the design of their rear sight?

Namely one has a screwdriver slot on the windage adjustment the other doesn't.

For the life of me I can't adjust windage on the one with no slot.

+1 on this...is that the only difference in reference to the "old" TROY BUIS?

I have both and usually use a small allen head wrench on the opposite side to quickly change windage on the old(er) ones.

paulinski,
put a drop of oil on that detente
and press it in a few times.
tight is good.
i held the detente down with a fmj tip.
on a squared away upper , 3 clicks to the right should be good.

The Troy with the coin slot is the newer and current model, the ones without it are the older ones.

I have the older FDE color I bought early 2007 and they didn't have the coin slot yet at that time, so maybe they changed it mid to late 2007, I also have the newer model which I got in Jan. 2008.

On my older Troy model without the slot I also use the tips of FMJ bullets to adjust the windage.
