TT MAV questions

I'd like it if somebody could show me how a hydro carrier attaches to the MAV with xharness, and give me some feedback on how it rides, does it flop around? Or is it pretty secure?
Thanks

Pretty simple really. The top set of Malice clips attaches to the MOLLE on the x harness and you can either just let it hang, or slip the strap around the back through the Malice clips on the bottom.

I've never worn this set-up, but I've helped a shit ton of customers set it up. I don't know personally how it rides but I haven't had ANYONE come back and complain.

I still think the 2 piece MAV with X harness is one of the best values in the "chest rig" family. Tons of versatility for ~$100.

LMAO! No way dude!

We are just having a discussion over at the LMS forum on this.

Now if I could just get Mayflower to make me an armor carrier in Woodland...I would be set!

The TT 2 piece MAV is truly awesome. I have set two guys up with 2 piece MAVS for light weight run and gun, training and SHTF rigs. Ironically...both in Woodland!

I am not real fusy about the one piece MAV myself. It is sort of annoying to get on and off with that narrow one piece design. I have more trouble getting it off than with your typical chest rig, especially over armor. Have to unload that piece of Woodland kit I guess and find another 2 piece!

Does anyone have any pics of the Camel Bak in place on the TT MAV?

I recall seeing someone here who had a 2 piece MAV with an X-Harness. They put a molle sleeve over the strap that goes around the back of the waist and had the camelbak carrier attached to the X harness and molle belt, plus extra molle real estate around the hips for a dump pouch and something else. It was pretty slick.

I have a TT 2 piece MAV set up with the X-harness and Their hydration carrier.. I am just running a 2 liter bladder with it and it sloshes around
and isn't too bad comfort wise but could be better.. I am going to do some mods to it, one being taking paracord and wraping the hydration carrier down tighter (if possible) .. The second being , I might try one of their side plate carriers to replace or somehow do away with the straps on the back, it's ok as is but can be better especially if it works out like I am planning.. If ya look on their site for the side plate carriers you'll get a better idea of what I am thinking.. I might be able to make it adjustable for soft armor also if this idea works out.. I'll take some pics over the weekend.. Here's a link to the piece I am thinking of attaching to the back side.. J.
