MOLLE pouch for EMT shears?

Hey all!

I recently bought a Blue Force Gear Trauma Kit NOW pouch. I like it quite a bit, but comparing it to the one my buddy bought last year, it appears the design has been changed somewhat. The biggest difference is that the newer version lacks the built-in side pocket for carrying a set of EMT shears, which I thought was a really handy feature. For the time being, I am carrying my shears inside the pouch, but IMO that is less than optimal.

Does anyone make a MOLLE compatible shears pouch that I could attach to the webbing on top of the TKN, or next to the kit on my War Belt? I am aware of the OSOE Shear Sheath, but other options would also be appreciated.

Thx.

I find that my EMT shear slide perfectly between the MOLLE loops behind another pouch; no special pouch need for them in my usage. You might try it.

I did try that, but found that the shears would work loose during positional shooting, and conflicted with my plate carrier. Thus my quest.

This may be an option.

MOLLE compatible shears pouch

CSM Gear has what you are looking for. I have several of these and they are good to go.

I'm not Mil or LE but the CSM one I have is GTG. It came with a stocked med kit I bought through a deal on another site a few years ago and is still in fine condition. I have it in my edc pack mounted to the med pouch and has gotten beaten around pretty bad.

Leviathan got to it first.

I was discussing it with him a couple weeks ago, trying to put my Shears behind my HSGI Mini Modular EOD Pouch which holds my Med Kit.

Thanks, guys; that CSM pouch looks like just the ticket. If it doesn't work on top of the TKN, I might just have someone sew it onto the side.
