I know Jason from Gear Sector, and he has had a complete lineup of items based around his rail locks for quite awhile. He mentioned them to me in 07, so its not anything new, I think its more a matter of him finally starting to bring them into production. His goal with the lineup was staying snag free, and having the lowest profile designs available.
Here is an image that shows his webbing sling mount. Along with the handstop he also has light mounts, QD sockets and some other items.

Stick I noticed taht sling mount last week on your flickr account (no I'm not stalking you ) and I wanted to know if that will accept the Magpul MS2 lock jaw. If not I'll stick with the CQD mount.
But the Gear Sector part looked like a far more ergonomic alternative.

When is Magpul gonna take the wraps off their handstop? Let me guess, it rhymes with SHOT Show?
Where'd you find it, Kelly? I'm not able to sniff it out on Mr. Trusty's site.

Nah Stickman, I was just giving Derek a hard time. I think that they're pretty cool.

I think its going to be the next big thing, and by big, I mean low cost addition that everyone can afford.

I like it... a lot. Seems like it has no sharp edges like the KAC and will allow a better purchase since it's more of a 90 degree unlike the KAC. Dont het me wrong, I prefer my KAC to any vertical grip, but I had to take a file to that sharp edge and add some stair tread tape to it to keep my hand from slipping. While the QD sling mount is nice, after using my sling mounted to it for some time I think I prefer it to be mounted on the side of the hanguard. I don't have my Larue rail yet so I'll make do with it for now. This new one looks like it will be flush with rail covers on it also. I'll definitly be trying one out when they're available.
