Aimpoint Micro mount ?

I have a question for the group...

Please don't flame me for asking...

I have a Sig STS-081 RDS that is currently mounted on a range gun (I will eventually get an H1 for this rifle as funds permit). This rifle is not a go to fighting rifle, I have a BCM for that role.
I have the RDS mounted in a ADM CASV mount (I have a CASV on this rifle).

I'm wondering if all low mounts are the same, the reason I ask...

The diode for the Sig is at six o'clock unlike the Aimpoint which is at ~5 o'clock.
Due to this I can't get a sight picture from my irons, the diode blocks the sight picture.

Will a LaRue low mount be at a different height (lower)?

I've searched the web sights and can't find measurements for the mount(s) height(s)...

Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Call LaRue Tactical and ask. A lot of times Mark answers the phone himself and most of his people will have the answer to your question right there and there without any "Hold on and I'll ask." or "Let me get back to you on that.".
