gas block install question

I cant seem to find any rocksett thread locker in my area but did wonder across some Permatex High Temp thread locker, (450f), in the local auto parts store. Is this sufficient for a low profile gas block install using set screws? The gas block comes with red loctite figured this would be a little bit better.

Are you asking about using the thread locker for bedding the gas block (as described in VLODPG's link), or just for treating the set screw threads?
