MilSpec to MilSpec
Comm. to Comm.
IMHO: Buy MilSpec thats true MilSpec: LMT; CMT; & _________ [
Anyone else? please fill in the other manuf.] from REPUTABLE vendors: BravoCompanyUSA; G&R Tactical , etc.
Mil Spec RE labeled MilSpec doesn't just mean Dia./Specs of OD/ID. Its also the material in which the receiver extension is made from. It may look the same, but looks are deceiving.
* 7075 is almost double the tensile strength of 6061

I dont see any reason to buy Comm. Stocks/RE when MilSpec offerings are the same price & available. Will, this/that work = yes, but would I want it = NO . . . . . .But...."To each their own"
* Would I use a 6061 MilSpec RE? maybe on a dedicated .22lr, as the RE serves no cycling/functioning purpose, but not on a "Real" Fighting/Training 5.56 Rifle.
Comm. = Comm. does remind me of something
