DD 9.0 Lite arrived today!
Just got back from the UPS hub after picking my new Lite rail up. It was sent signature required and I wasn't home yesterday. That extra 24 hour wait was killer! Don't know why cause I'm still waiting on a 10.5 Noveske barrel to go inside it. Anyway, just thought I'd let ya'll know. I really like it. It is freaking lite and the new locking system is sweet.

Geez you guys are quick with your demands.
Now that I have thrown it together real quick I like it even more. It is super simple to install.
Edit.... I played with it some more and when I tightened everything up it did level it off at the top and make it good and flush.

I really like those rails. I need to get a 7.0 for my 10.5 and a 9.0 and build up another mid-lenth

Did you install it correctly? There shouldn't be any issues with it being flush with your upper..... How did you line it up?

I have been asked to point out that I am Magpul's photographer. I have also done work for 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my work has been used for web, catalog, banners, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military where it has been used in training aids. I am prior service and a full time LEO.
I also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus is weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. If you have something new, let me know.

Kev, it's been out for a few months, and DD had them in stock last time I checked. $580, and $35 for the wrench to install it.

Yeah I went back and edited my post. I just half ass put it on just for the pics. I went back and tightened it all up and it made it flush.

Some guys out of 1st Group were playing around with mine the other day, all comments on the DD RIS II that I've heard have been pretty good. I'm not sure when they are going to come around to the final selection for the contract, but I wouldn't be shocked if DD was selected. The only negative things I've heard have been from people who seem to have their own agenda, and can't back anything up.
