Stamp fees?

I have 0 experience with the NFA process so forgive me for my newb questions. The $200.00 stamp tax; is it a one time fee or do you have to pay yearly or at some other interval? The $200.00 manufacturing tax is it included in the prices from the manufacturers or is it a fee above the retail price?

It's $200 per "transfer" to/from an individual. So assuming you're talking about buying it from a dealer and keeping it, it's just a single one-time $200 transfer tax.

If you're buying a gun that's currently owned by an individual (non-dealer) in another state, there would be two taxable transfers (seller to dealer, then dealer to you) and so it would be $400 total, but you can negotiate with the seller to get him to pay his $200 tax.

I would suggest starting here. The stickied thread titled "NFA Info" is a good one too. Helped me out a bunch.
