Tritium Di-Optic Aperture

Mods, first off, wasn't exactly sure where to ask this question so put it into this forum given that it is closest to what it is. Sorry if it is in the wrong one.

I am building up an SBR, and using what I learned from my first build, learning from some posts by members and instructors overall (their posts as well as blogs) I need to look at low light conditions and such.

Is it really worth getting tritium on the sights? I am going to run the carbine first with Irons for a bit to get back to some of the fundamentals with shooting with irons before adding in a RDS.

I will just be getting the rear BUIS as I will have the regular FSB on the 12.5" upper.

lastly, anyone have any experience with the new DOA? I have shot through regular ones and at times it seems that my eyes has a hard time lining up the sights, but from what I see I can pick up the front post easier with the DOA.
