Class: John Farnam Urban Defensive Rifle-Shotgun course

Defensive Urban Rifle-Shotgun course. The emphasis of this course is on defensive rifle and shotgun handling and shooting skills. Most of this class is at short to medium ranges, rapid target-acquisition, improvised shooting positions, "snapshooting" and more deliberate fire. There will be single and multiple targets and students will have an opportunity to practice rational decision making. Military autoloaders are strongly recommended as most of the class is spent firing at multiple targets. We will be running a hot range. Defense Training International focuses on the basic principles of rifle and shotgun shooting for defense use. You will also need a handgun for transitional drills. Range time on Saturday will begin at 9:00 AM (night shooting till 10:00PM or later) and Sunday from 9:00 AM till 5:00.
