2 or 4 MOA Dot?

Which size dot is better for a red dot sight? Most shooting would be 100 yards and closer.

Does the smaller size dot allow for more precision? Thanks.

Yes but its a bit slower to pick up with your eyes. 100Y or less 4MOA would be better IMO.

I use both but don't find that it adds significantly more precision. You can be as precise with a 4 moa just by using the top of the dot.
