Also, can any of you provide any specifics on these models of Aimpoint and EOTech based solely on this ad? (As in what models they are, for that matter?)

looks to be a decent buy. both sights look to be older models... i'd go with the aimpoint regardless.

I'm not familiar with the MSAR so I can't comment on that. However the Aimpoint is a Comp M2 and the EOTech is a 512. Just enter those into the search engine here or on Google and you will have all the info you'll ever need, or want.

ETA: I'm not sure wether or not you were also asking for info on the MSAR itself, if so here's a bunch of it...

That's kinda what I was thinkng with the price, that it was pretty fair...

I was leaning towards the Aimpoint over the EOTech, so I guess I was correct in that field anyway...

I have one of the GEN 1 MSARs..I bought one of the LTD ed setups in green. I have the 1.5X tube that came with it and it's been great so far. I heard that MSAR changed vendors after the first batch and I think Dave at microtech mentioned the same thing once. So I guess I got one of the good ones. I like the lines of the classic AUG look as well.IMO.
