Looks pretty gimmicky to me. I've never seen anybody reputable using them. With that being said I've never used one, so I am not speaking from personal experience.

True, it does. I just haven't been able to see one up close for myself. Figured with as many gurus as there are on here, someone would have ran across one.

i havnt tried one on my rifle but ive seen one and messed around with it for a good 10 mins. Over all its built pretty well, feels solid but i think its pointless, I dont see the point of it folding up like it does. And i would be a little weary on how it would hold up after it being folded up and down over the years. I passed on it i think your better off going with something else ie magpul moe grip or the miad

I see this as just another failure point on a rifle. The less you have, the better. A broken pistol grip would be rather interesting to deal with in the middle of firing.

What does this thing do, knock off like 2-3 inches of height? I've yet to encounter a storage restriction that was a height issue, and not an OAL issue.

But no, I haven't tried it. I can't think of a reason to even give it a run.
