A couple more new barrel profiles in the works at Bravo (BCM®)

BCM® 14.5" Carbine Light Weight Upper Group (NFA)
We will also offer the option with perm installed (non-NFA) A2X™ Flash Hider

These are in production now - .625" at FSB. First batch is small.

And the,
BCM® 16" SOCOM M4 Upper Group

The SOCOM M4 profile is a mid weight profile barrel for the M4A1 Carbine. The flats milled under the handguards are for mounting of the M203. SOCOM requested the mid profile to better handle the volume of fire from their shooters. This profile is being adopted as a new standard for the M4A1 Carbine.

(A BCM 14.5" M4 SOCOM version is also in the works, ETA late summer)

Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I like the lightweight profile with the standard FSB.

The socom profile barrels have always interested me. Glad to see another option out there than the expensive colt versions.

Sweet. More tough choices.

I also think it's time to go 6.8.

I don't particularly need another AR but you folks at Bravo Company keep putting out products that make me WANT another one. I really like the lightweight profile upper group!

As much as Im impatient Im going try to wait for some of these in the BFH barrels, and maybe some more rail configurations.

Next one, I think, will be a 14.5" middy with a DD 12.0 Lite and CHF barrel.

Thanks for the feedback!

Barrel profiles "in the works"

BFH, MID 16, LW, Fall
BFH, MID 14.5, Gov, late 2010

Std, MID 14.5, LW, later this summer
Std, M4 14.5, SOCOM, early fall
Std, 11.5, LW, Fall

The dates are ETAs. E= estimate = best guess = usually not exactly correct.

Thanks!

Excellent!

I dig the light one. I am a big fan of the Bushy Superlight profiles for a GP carbine. I have three I am running right now (one I am running quite hard). When it comes time for a new barrel, I guess I need to do some Fed paperwork as those 14.5s seem to be even better in the weight department.

How about a SOCOM profile 14.5" Mid with perm attached Battle Comp when their 1.5" model is available? That would finally get me interested in a gun with a perm attached muzzle device.
