TR24 + hot car = ?

I know this may be a stupid question, but can I leave my accupoint on my gun in my very hot car for any lengthy period of time?

Well if its like any other Trijicon product then HELL YES it got to 146+ in Kuwait and Iraq and I never had of have ever seen or heard of anyone having issue with any optic. Trijicon is bullet proof!

I was hoping for something more along the lines of TR24 + hot car = babe magnet or something.

I honestly wasn't thinking temperature when I read this.

I've left elcheapo Simmons 8-point scopes in a vehicle and never had a problem, so Trijicon should be good.

Excessively heating the polycarbonate will eventually wear that part out - which seems to occur around the same time the tritium goes into its third half-life and is too dim to be practical.
It's fine.
