BCM Uppers w/ Low profile Gas Block

I was just looking very hard as a BCM 12.5 w/ VTAC TRX 11"

Obviously the block is low profile … but I'd like to know how it is mounted on models with FF guards? Are they dimpled/screwed or pinned like a FSB?

Asking here for the knowledge base.
