Mounting to a VTAC handguard W/O a pic rail

So. Are there any parts that one can directly mount to a VTAC, VTAC Extreme, Troy Extreme rails etc? I know VTAC sells a sling mount that will and I read somewhere that a Magpul AFG will too. Any others?

Troy Industries has a QD sling attachment on their website. (Not available as of yet)

IMO, it is a little expensive for what you get.

AR15 Performance has a similar attachment at a little lower cost.

And as far as the Magpul AFG, M4C member KingSideRook managed to directly attach one to his Troy TRX Extreme.
