If you'd rather stay in the Springs for food/Beer try out these:
-Bristol Brewing Company (Great!)
-Judge Baldwins (Only had 1 of their offerings and it was pretty good)
-Phantom Canyon (Great!)
-Trinity Brewing company (Great!)
All sell food and beer on premise.
Have a good class guys, wish I would be there. I am shooting myself in the foot for scheduling bussines during this class and not realizing it until it was too late...

See you guys in the AM. Do we need to be early to help with range setup?
If so holler at me.

Not sure about setup but you'll want to get there early enough to get your range waiver signed and have your gear together in time to start shooting at 8.

Wanted to give a special word of thanks to USMC03. I cant tell you how much I appreciated your help when my primary went down. I gained alot of knowledge to take back on the street only because you were looking out for a fellow brother. I owe you my friend. If you ever find yourself in Texas, whats mine is yours. Your a true professional.

Awesome course. So glad I was able to get off the wait list and into the course. I'm so physically and mentally hurting today, but it was well worth it.
Irish, glad to meet you and all the other students. That's one thing I really enjoy when I attend these classes, is meeting and talking to the other students. Just a great group willing to share their knowledge and experience.
Thanks to Chris and Steve from Magpul for instructing and some schwag, USMC03 for hosting, Brad from River's Edge for the range, and Richard from The Firing Line for working with a number of vendors and hooking up some schwag prizes. We all got some Hornady TAP ammo, thanks to Jason from Hornady and Richard. We also got some SLIP cleaner and lube, thanks to SLIP and USMC03.
Looking forward to some more training next year!
Steve

Dammit Steve, now I gotta catch up on the "honey-do" list so I can get another class in. Glad you guys had fun, I know I sure did earlier this year. My wife pointed out that I'm still talking about it like it happened yesterday.

Who is Magpul Steve?
Wish I could have been there, but I'm in Zhurdan's boat- I heat gun stripped, sanded and primed the first floor windows on my house while you guys were out shooting. Can't wait to hear about the class and see the pics.

He's the Magpul Yeti. I have always known I am on the short side but Steve made me feel like a leprechaun. He is super fast, accurate and a hell of an instructor. You'll get a kick out of the guy when you go to your next class. Hope to meet ya.

Well unless my eyes deceive me, "Magpul Steve" can be viewed on numerous pages of the Eotac site. That's him on the far right in the following image (or an amazingly well done reproduction). He's sort of hunkered over in the pic but I concur with Irish. He's one tall sonovagun!

Great class guys. Enjoyed it. Got home and started talking about what I would like to do next year, when I realized that the wife was stairing me down. I asked "What?". She said " Before you start talking about your next one, shouldn't you get unpacked from this one first?
