AR-15 SP1 Sling question
My AR has been collecting dust since the early 70's, decided to attend a few carbine classes and then maybe some of the fun competitions.
In any event, I have no intention on changing anything other than adding a sling. Based on my research; believe I need a two-point sling with some type of accessory to attach it to the stock.
What are your recommendations and why?
Thanks

Full size SP-1?
I'm a big proponent of a modern adjustable two point sling like the Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Applications Sling (VCAS). The Viking Tactics adjustable two point is also highly regarded.
I'd go with the Blue Force Gear M16 adapter kit for full size rifles with standard A1 or A2 stocks:

I've had good luck with the BFG Victory Series VCAS, having used the standard VCAS and the Victory, the Victory is less expensive and works very well.

Hope that helps. Good to see you dusting off the old bangstick.

Received the M16 adapter kit for the victory sling: anyone have a link to the installation of the buttstock adapter on the full size buttstock?
For whatever reason, I can't figure it out.
thanks

The youTube video has a Velcro buttstock adapter, mine is the link to blueforcegear you provided. No Velcro.
