Buffer Questions

Which buffer should I use on a BCM 14.5" Mid-length and a 16" Mid-length?

H should be fine; H2 as an option (carbine buffers, of course).

I'd stick with a standard buffer, you might get some short-stroking issues with an H2.

I tried breaking in my new BCM 14.5 upper with an H2 and I received a couple FTFs. Next outing I swapped to an H buffer and it ran flawlessly. I may try the H2 again after the action loosens up some more. I was using cheap, light loads, btw. Silver Bear, Tula, etc. I didn't have any issues with this ammo with the H.

H2 has been optimal on my 14.5" BCM middy. H3 worked, but I got some failures to lock back with mild ammo like Hornady steel cased.
