Stupid Crush Washer Question: Which side where?

I did a search on the site and via Google [site:m4c .... ] and was unable to find the answer. Please don't flog me if I missed something obvious.

Which side of the crushwasher goes toward the bbl and which to the muzzle device?

Convex/Concave = ?

Thanks guys.

The convex (smaller) side faces towards the barrel shoulder. The larger concave side faces the muzzle device.
