A Gentleman came to my door today...

I played with the Prototype model at SHOT and waited for Mr Emerson to release it for sale on his website. It's not my usual style of Emerson knife since it's a Satin blade. I kinda like it, but I may send it off to get refinished in Black-T.

Size comparison to the CQC-11 and CQC-16

Dang!

Wow, I really like that. I am a big Emerson fan, I'd have to go count how many. But my EDC is a waved Mini-CQC7. I really do like that one of yours a lot.

Is that a liner lock, or a frame lock?

What dealer did you get it from?

Thanks very much for posting that, it's really sweet.

Same locking style as the other Emerson Models.

I bought mine online from Emerson. Since the whole Counterfeit/Knockoff Emersons floating around on the net I'm very weary of buying anywhere else.

Yes, I am pretty careful about where I pick them up. I have been a fan of Mike Dye at New Graham Pharmacy for a long time. Awesome customer service, and great prices. Plus they will track stuff down for you. Family business, which I always like to support.

That Skull Crazy knife would be an interesting one for the collection, but I am really trying to stick to users for now.

Thanks for the pics!

NICE! If I wasn't in line for the Roadhouse, I would have ordered one of these already!
