New S&W M&P15 TS (811024).... is it a Middy?

I have recently seen some pics of the new S&W M&P15 TS model #811024 and it appears to have a mid-length gas system in the pics. Can anyone confirm or deny this? The pics I am referencing are on the S&W page, G&R Tactical, & BudsPoliceSupply.

None of the listed specs list whether it is a middy or not. It is a 14.5" with a perm Vortex, and Im positive the one shown in the pics linked below is indeed middy gas system gun, but I have also seen some others posted here & elsewhere that were 14.5" M4 profile/carbine gas system guns

I asked this of a new 15ts owner on a recent thread. Carbine gas. Some kind of glitch. Too bad.

Thanks Grant. It's still a nice package for the street price, but I would liked to have seen it with a 14.5" Middy.

Any word on the new version of the M&P15 VTAC (16" 1/8 twist, Fluted/Middy)???

I have not heard of anything. Maybe we will see something at shot.

Negative on the mid length.
Last two I sold were carbine length gas with an m4 profile barrel.
