It has been worn but there is minimal wear and barely a fold where I usually wore it. I went back to a 1.5" belt because my work pants have too small of belt loops. No rips, tears, discoloring, funny smells or funky stains. It is black, medium (somewhere around 35"-43" total usable size range) and 1.75"
