I own 2.
A Sabre Defence with a 16" bbl and 12" free float Troy rail, Magpul MIAD and EOTech sight, Troy BUIS and flip up front sight.
A Colt LE 6920 with a VLTOR rail system, Aimpoint ML2 on an ARMS mount, VLTOR stock.
Planning on getting either an LMT SBR which I will build or maybe a Colt LE 6933, as soon as I set up my trust, etc...., or maybe BOTH!!!
Oh and I have to get approval from the wife for any more AR's...
But I don't have BRD.......really..........no seriously..........

Wouldnt a good bolt action sniper rifle be a better option for long range shooting? I am new to ARs so be kind with your reply

There are quite a few well built 5.56x45 AR's that will match or exceed the accuracy of many precision bolt guns at ranges up to 600yds with the right ammo and a skilled shooter. The 6.5 Grendel will move that range out to 1000yds.

Only one that's completely done. I have a 9mm carbine lower finished with the mag block and internals, just waiting for the upper (or to save the pennies for same), and a couple stripped lowers awaiting the attention span and money to turn them into functional rifles.

Sure, there are some 5.56mm AR's that will drive tacks, but they won't drive a man down at 600 yds reliably. I think that you're going to run out of terminal ballistics after 300 yds or so with a 5.56mm., especially with a mid length or an M4. You just won't get any expansion.
If we're talking about 600 +yard sniper applications, IMHO it needs to be .30 cal minimum, and prefereably a .300 Win Mag. Past 1,000 yds. it's time to break out the .50 Cal.
I know we can discuss .308's and its' virtures all day long, and I love the cartridge...but if you have a choice at long range....bigger is better, again IMHO.

Sadly one one at the moment, but I hope to have at least two more by the end of 2008.

Right now I have 2 finished, a 16in M4, and a 7.5 pistol.
I have one half built with an A2 stock, I’m just waiting for the $ to finish the upper, and buy a nice trigger for it. And I have 2 stripped lowers I got in a local group buy, one I decided to build a 14.5 M4 w/perma FH, the other I don’t know yet.
I'm kinda thinking I want a 11.5in SBR, but I think I want my first NFA item to be a suppressor.
Silly BRD.

I'm down to one. (I've had as many as 8 at one time) And I haven't even seen in for nearly a year. I had to move to Germany last year for work and I have a friend send me pics from time to time. He takes it to the range occasionally and cleans/re-lubes it as necessary.
If I could figure out a way to get a stripped lower in Germany, I'd be in high cotton, but it'll be another year or two until we are reunited....
