Magpul Handrail Grips
I was looking to get some type Magpul fore-grip for my Daniel Defense 12" Omega FSP Handrail. I am thinking of either a RVG or AFG1 or AFG2. Does anyone have one of these? If so then what do ya got and how you like them. I am leaning toward the AFG2.Here is a link to the AFG2. Thanks, Mike http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG414/110

If you "search", you will find what you need to know. There is one thread comparing those grips.
good luck.

To be honest with you I ended up buying all 3 of those, with the AFG2 on the ups truck heading my way now. I have the AFG & I like it works well 4 me. So now I'm finishing up a SBR build & I'm hoping smaller is better, becuz I went real small with everything on this 1.. But It's all a matter of personal preference & what works for you.. G'luck either way..

Look up the "MVG". It is specifically for the MOE Handguard, with no rail mount. It screws right in flush.

I have this on my SBR. Better than the RVG.

IMO, the RVG sucks. the shape is all wrong for what I want to use it for. not used the AFG II but on the DD OmegaX 12FSP the AFG works beautifully - sealing up the gap between it and the bottom side of the rails.

I dumped my RVG for the AFG. The AFG just feels right when holding.
Depending on what you plan to slap on your handguard rails...get the AFG-2. AFG-1 has a lip that may interfere with things added to the sides of your handguard. There should be posted threads with differences and maybe pics. Or simply Google the two and you will see what I mean.

What purpose does that VFG serve that the AFG does not?

I might be wrong, but I believe that the pic was in jest.
If not, bannings will be handed out as warranted.

Here is the AFG1 on the 12'' FSP rail. I like it, just feels good to me anyway.
I had to trim the wings a bit to fit the magpul rail covers. FYI

Yeah I had to do the same.. I just bought the AFG2 to put on my new build and it doesn't have those side wings like the original..
