Length of Pull - AR Stock

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering how you all figure out what length of pull best suites you on your AR?

Some states are nice enough to let you use a collapsible stock...my state isn't however. So before pinning my stock I wanted to see what everyone does to find their LOP.

shoot it a lot from different positions with the gear you'd use most often and see which LOP suits you the best.
someone who's 5'6" will have a different setting from someone who's 6'5".

also going to depend on the positioning of your irons and optics also. The LOP is going to affect where your cheek weld is and where your eyes are. I am 5'9" using 2 clicks away from fully collapsed. Just have to mess around, unfortunate that youre in a ban state where its more difficult to find your best setting. I've even seen people taller than me use a LOP that is shorter than mine. So its all personal preference.
