I think it will sell like crack for that price.
I say one at the shot show and basically thought it was an MP5 and knew that I couldn't own it so pretty much just ignored it.
The importer has a non-firing model with him right now and are also an HK LE Distr. They tell me that you cannot tell a difference.

Cool plinker, but don't hold your breath.
They're made by a foreign airsoft manufacturer (yes, literally), and the last I saw they still hadn't even bothered looking into America's civilian gun laws.

Yes, the company does make airsoft items as well.
The importer is going to the factory in Germany and test firing them as they come off the line to make sure everything meets their standards.
The GSG-5 has already been submitted to the ATF and is being approved as we speak.

Huh.
I'm 110% amazed the ATF is approving them.
That's awesome news though.

Yep. According to the importer, the ATF has had them make some small change with the barrel and that has been it.

On the video it shows a barrel assembly that looks like the suppressed version of the MP5.
Is that going to be a 16" barrel?
Or are they only offering the 7"?

The gun will come with a 16" barrel and a shroud that will make it look like it suppressed. Later on, there will be shorter barrel options.
