This is most likely correct. I know where 375 of them are sitting (which is where I am ordering mine from).

what's funny is that he has to wait for the US order to clear before getting his order and his shop is in Europe..lol..shows US market is huge compare to them.

I doubt it. You can of course get the barrel threaded yourself, or buy the after market barrel and register it as an SBR.

Looking forward to this "plinker". I recently bought a 10/22 but once the GSG-5 arrives, it may not see much range time.

UPDATE!!!
Just talked to the importer and they informed me that the GSG-5 has been aproved the BATF for importation!!!!
Apparently the ATF guys that shot the weapon liked it so much, they wanted to know when they could buy one.
After the GSG-5 is released (maybe in December), next on the plate will be G36C in .22.
