14.5 inch barrel with DD 12 inch FSB rail and blackout--will my suppressor mount?

Hey guys,

I was looking at VA_Dinger's DD upper with 14.5 inch upper and DD 12 inch rail with the cutout for the FSB. I have been looking for a new upper for my M16. I will be mounting my AAC blackout FH so I can put my AAC 416/M4 suppressor on it.

Will this setup clear the suppressor. I really don't see why It wouldn't but I would hate to spend 1k putting an upper together and it be useless.

I can't speak to that exact setup. However I just asked Jason at AAC about my setup. It is an 11.5 inch barrel with a 10 inch rail and he said it will work fine.

Greg,

I don't know if you remember but I shot next to you with that very setup at the Hackathorn Carbine class last year. It works just fine and is very nice. If you have an SPR/M4 it might have issues, but an M4-2000 or 416 suppressor will be fine.

Damn it. I am blind.

I just found some pics where you sold it. Cool, I was looking for a visual ref.
