BAD device for Mega billet upper

I recently received a mega billet upper and my BAD lever will not work with it. Is there another manufacturer that is compatible with a billet pair?

What's up AMAC? How are ya man? This seems to be a common problem with billet uppers with their thicker side walls. I had to grind my BAD lever down on the inside to get the full movement of the lever/bolt catch. Here's a pic of my MUR. If you look on the outside part of the bolt catch recess you can see a triangular shaped light colored area. This was were the lever was rubbing. Take care bud.

This is an old thread.......... I've done some searching but can't find exactly what I'm looking for; this is the closest thread I could find related to what I'm trying to figure out.

Does anyone know if the Phase 5 Tactical Extended Bolt Release (EBRv2 or EBRv2-sc) work with a VLTOR MUR Upper Receiver, without hitting or scratching the upper????

Is anyone running these two products together?????

Does anyone have any pics of one being used with a VLTOR upper???

Thanks for your help.

I am not running the two together, but what I do remember about the Phase 5 is that it's a one piece item that replaces your bolt release. The item provided me plenty of clearance and functioned flawless. I am running a Vltor upper with Bad lever now. While there is some contact, I have not experienced any negative side affects.

Hope this helps.
