Glock 20 Gen4

Anyone heard if or when Glock will do the Gen4 G20?

According to Glock reps I spoke with this weekend, they will release Glock 20 and 21 by the end of this month or early next month.

I certainly hope your rep is correct. A new 21 is on my shopping list.

A Gen 4 G20 would be very interesting. But just one question: the Gen4 small frames are adjustable to small, regular flavor and large. Would Glock really make their large frame gun with a larger insert?

Yes. The G21 Gen4 has already been spotted and it has the backstraps.

so like I suspected it'll replace the current 21 and 21sf. I know a guy that stands 6'4 that likes his standard G21 very much and thinks the SF is too small.

Interesting. The pic looks like it was taken at SHOT, yet not a single mention of a Gen4 G21 in any of the show reports. HMMMMMM wonder if someone confused a G37 with a G21?? Definitely hope not.

Was hoping Glock would do the same to the 21 as the rest of the line minus the screwed up recoil spring issue. Give me the reversible mag release and shave another mil or 2 off the trigger reach and I'll be as happy as a pig in shit. I'll settle for the reversible mag release and the RTF texture though. I'll convert my current 21SF into a dedicated 22LR platform once the Gen4 proves to be reliable.

Wonder how hard it will be to carve old mags out to be reversible.

The beavertail thing might be appealing to those with big mitts. I've been wanting to get a G20SF, for holster making purposes, but it looks like, pretty soon, I won't have that option. Guess this is what will force me to buy a Gen. 4 Glock, and all that that entails.
