New Product Release from Daniel Defense!

We are proud to announce that we made a special arrangement with Daniel Defense to make an exclusive purchase of the 10".

The 10" version is gaining significant popularity for going over a low profile gas block on a mid length gas system or carbine gas system.

These are some first pics of the Daniel Defense M4-10.0 rail. It is an amazing 11.2 oz!

Please pardon my picture taking abilities.

(The rifle pictured above is a BCM 11.5")

Thanks for looking!

Nice! What are the chances of a 10" DD Lite rail coming along?

Nice! I noticed Troy started making 10s for this exact reason.

I'm glad to see DD doing this. I recently spoke with Jay over the phone and he's a very nice guy.

Cool release, but I am still waiting on an "M4 Rail" from DD in 13.0/13.5!

I am also interested in the Lite rail version.

Also, I am wondering how this rail will work with a 12.5" barrel and a suppressor. I'm thinking about a Gemtech HALO, but I'm wondering about my other options with this rail and barrel combo.

ETA: I was also wondering how a 12.0 rail will work with a 12.5" barrel and a suppressor, especially which suppressors will work.

Capn_Crunch or Bigbore might have some good info on the rail length doable with certain suppressors. I am just not sure.

I'll have to measure and see exactly what will work with a 10" when I get another rail in. Giff has one of my KAC's (his now), and another is about 2 counties away on a 12". The 12" is waiting on a SF FA556K last time I heard about it.

Just judging by the pics, you'll be, at the very least, able to run an M496D/G5. KAC M4QD, or an AAC M4-2K. SCARS-D with the Phantom should work, and the FA556K should work, but I can't say for sure as I don't have either on hand. It won't work with a SF M4FA or an OPS can, for obvious reasons.

Just to add something about the rail itself... 11.2 oz??? That's going to handle like a bat outta hell, or at least until you get the "Long Dot" on top of it

Yup, 11.2oz . . . it is like a magic trick or something.

I will weigh the new AR15-LITE rail tomorrow, it is just a bit heavier - but only back at the barrel nut, so my guess is the feel and balance will be very similar.

Justin, you read my mind like a book! I'll toss the SB on top, and have one screaming setup.

But then again, I might just stick the 10" M4 Rail on there with an Aimpoint/LT Mount and a set of Troy BUIS.

I'm still kinda undecided at this point

Too bad my only "adequate" lens for the new rig is an uber-macro.

I'll have pics posted before this time next week Of the rifle, that is, not my camera. It's be kinda hard to take pics of that, hehe.

Very impressive to say the least.

I know what rail I'm going to be using on my next build.
