Does it matter if...Night Sight Question

My glock 19 has the glock 26 night sight set on it?

A while back I ordered a glock 19 with meprolight night sights and the sights that were on the gun always looked a little strange. I generally dont shoot my 19 past 15 yards and the gun seems to be as accurate as I am.

I am currently contemplating getting a 19 RTF2 and was looking at night sight options on meprolight's page, and realized that the sights that are on my current 19 are actually made for the glock 26.

I was just curious if anyone else had a setup like that and if there is any poi/poa change that you have noticed.

Thanks!

Ill have a pic up shortly btw.

G26 and G19 sights should all be the same.

you mean poi/poa should be the same, or the actual sight?

I'm torn on night sights.

The logical part of my head realizes that between the adrenaline dump and the fact that much of my combat shooting on the range involves point shooting, I'm not likely to CONSCIOUSLY see my sights in a real combat situation.

The tacticool part of me bought them for my duty weapon for dark building searches.

Sure I've heard the old "low light" shooting scenarios and people who believe you should prepare for everything, but lets be perfectly frank here, if you are in a low light situation that's so shitty that you don't have a decent sight picture with plain sights, you probably shouldn't be taking that shot anyhow.

Thats why you should also have a light. If you are ccw though, you may not have a light and still need to take a shot. Its probably better to start your own thread about this specific issue though, for a more thorough discussion.
