Apparently they were sent it to meet with opposition leadership and instead the rebels placed them under arrest. They've been released however there is significant embarrassment on the part of the ruling coalition. The PM said he followed some bad advice.
While apparently on a diplomatic weapons they were inserted by helo, were apparently armed and carrying multiple passports.
