Anyone Had a Colt "Model O Package" Done?

If so, were you happy with it? Anyone have any pictures of the work?

It seems like a decent price - I'm curious about having the work done on a Colt Series 70 re-issue. I would love to hear if this is quality work and any feedback - good or bad.

I'm also interested in feedback from anyone that may not have had it done, but has seen and example.

Thanks.

I suggest you go here: 1911forum and do a search. You should find more than one thread on the "O" package.

Here's one: COLT S70 "O" Package

I've had the model "o" package done to my Colt series 70 reissue. I was very happy with the work. You might decide to have some additional work done at Colt. like a checkered front strap, extended and or ambi safety, etc.

Very nice pistol. I have read that the Colt shop does good work. Yours shows that is true.

1911A1,

That looks good. I'm interested in a package similar to yours. I would also like the classic commander hammer, and an extended thumb safety.

I wouldn't mind a different rear sight, as well.

Thanks for the feedback.

Best.
