Standard Midlength Gas w. KAC URX II Rifle Length

Are there any fit issues with a 16in mid length (not KAC mid length) with a lo pro gas block and a KAC Rifle Length URX II?

Anyone point me to a few pics?

Thanks!

That will work fine. BCM sells their 16" mid length guns with URX rifle's.

Thanks... That was dumb of me... I should have probably looked there first... I know there are issues with the URX II and the KAC proprietary mid length... I think they have fixed that issue with the URX III...

The issue was with the mid length URX and mid length gas systems. The gas block was where the integrated front sight is, and that area dips down inside the rail a little bit causing a conflict.

You do want to be sure that the area under the front sight has been machined out in order to work with a midlength low pro GB. You should be able to see through into the interior of the rail when the sight is in the up position. If the area under the sight is solid aluminum with no cutout, you may have fitment issues. All current manufacture urx II rails should have this modification.

Any idea if a midlength cut down FSB will work on a URX3? I have a Daniel Defense barrel and would prefer to keep the gas block pinned in place. Installing the URX is another question.

As long as its cut down properly, it should work fine with the rifle length URX III or URX II.

Guys,
Can I change the mid-length urx ii on the sr-15 for the rifle length urx ii with no issues?
