Upper receiver manufacturer symbol

I noticed a small symbol on several upper receivers on varying gun makers new production rifles in the last two weeks. It looks like a small raised key hole design.

Who is the actual manufacturer?

I have been told that most of the current firearms companies use the same sources for parts and after seeing this I am starting to believe it. I saw the same symbol described above on a Stag M4 varient, a S&W carbine, and a Colt 6920.

It's a Cerro forging. Good forgings used by many companies. Who knows on the finish machining and anodizing.
