I just watched this DVD and found it very good. I like the one on one style instruction. It's as if you are watching a Magpul video without having to watch the students do the drills after Travis or Costa. Travis is showing alot of the same drills as shown in the Magpul AOTTC 1&2, but more in depth with & more explanation. I personally liked a scene where he shows shot patterns at different zero's from 25 yards out to 400 yards. Also the final drill was cool to see that even a guy as skilled as he is has a failure point. I would recommend it to people who enjoyed the Magpul DVD's to learn from & not just cause the stuff they do looks "cool".

The only thing I didn't like about the DVD was the price. This DVD should have been $29.99. After spending $50 on Magpul DVD's, you are getting 9 hours or more of instruction. Spending $50 on this kinda blows because it's only 2 hours long. Then again I'm an LEO so if I learn one thing from watching this or any video & it saves my life one day, $50 bucks is nothing....

As usual Travis does not disappoint. He has just as much or more determination to get you to think, shoot & survive. I hope that I can attend one if his classes in the future, if he has one up here on the east coast (PA or close to).

Question

I received this DVD a few days ago, and as others have already stated; very good stuff!

I have two questions though; on the chapter discussing different zeros, Mr. Haley repeatedly referred to 300-yard zero. Shouldn't that have been 300-meter zero (ie the USMC zero)? The follow-up question is of course, "which zero did we see on the target - a 300-yard or a 300-meter zero?"

But, as always - very impressed with your products and the quality of instruction provided in your videos!

Got this one for Christmas. I gotta say, I'm pretty damn pleased with it.

Like everyone else, I really enjoyed the comparison of various zeros and the effect on hit zones. I also found the detailed one-on-one discussions about set up, tactics, methods, and the 99%/1% very good.

I am in the military, but not in a direct combat AFSC. In fact, in my 9 year career thus far (including 4 years of ROTC), I have fired exactly 32 shots through a worn out M9 during a fam fire 7 years ago. All of my firearms know-how comes from competition and training like this, and I will gladly direct others to your products.

Joined up for streaming video on Sunday, and watched both of Travis' "Adaptive" videos... Excellent! It was like him doing a one-on-one training with me. Great learning experience and Travis' speaking skills and knowledge shined through strongly...

Reminded me of the old days when he was a VA local and we would all get together for shoots...

I will be buy all three of his Adaptive videos!
